Spaghetti Squash - What was I waiting for?

I don't know why it took me so long to try spaghetti squash.  But...I finally did.  Guess what?
I love it!  It tastes similar to some other squashes, but of course, the texture is different.  After trying the recipe I'll link to, and liking it so much, I can think of so many other possibilities for using this tasty vegetable.

First...I looked for some basic instructions for baking the squash.  It was SO simple.
HERE is the link.  I chose the oven baking method.  Yummm.  It was tasty just out of the oven, before making it into a casserole.

This photo of the finished casserole came from the blog where I found the recipe.  That's because I forgot to take a photo of mine before cutting it into pieces to store in the fridge.  Ooops.

Anyway, I hope you'll try this recipe.  It's SO good!

I'm thinking that next time I make this, I'll add some chopped jalapeno peppers.  Or some chopped spinach.  Or mushrooms.  See?  Lots of possibilities.
